Of course, a true Star Trek fan knows that Roddenbury put a woman as the second in command in the first pilot, and when the networks gave him crap about it he snuck a woman onto the bridge in the final series production as the communications officer – by telling the execs that she’d be a glorified secretary and then making her a lieutenant and coming up with stories that gave her command of the ship at times.
I like the “we” aspect. It’s like when Americans go on about how “we” invented this or that, or “we” liberated Western Europe. Unless you were THERE, it’s fairly ridiculous to claim that you did anything, and if you weren’t even born when something happened, how can you be part of even the most inclusive “we?”
The Royal “We,” is more like it. Wait for the shake!
That Blevin Blixon guy is coming around.
Cyrus, you fool – you’re acting like a Trek n00b! Male chauvinism gave no advantage to the Ferengi over the Federation, now did it? Think man!
This will no doubt be an argument in the next strip. I hope.
How long before the awful truth about the Lucille Ball/Star Trek connection comes down on them? I’m betting seven strips.
This strip has a message, I can feel it!
It’s in there somewhere.
Perhaps if we used our opposible thumbs, we might find it?

Cyrus, for shame, you are no real Star Trek fan.
With their attitude they won’t be allowed to go where most men get to go.
If you get my meaning.
Do I need to start watching Star Trek now?
Next generation / A Far superior show / Just my opinion.
BLAAAARGH.
And other witty retorts.
