Spectacular move! Though hopefully he did a lot more strenuous research than most Western people getting Chinese tattoos do, or his name will translate into a sexually violent act or something similarly unflattering.
BECAUSE he did a lot more strenuous research than most Western people getting Chinese tatoos do, his name WILL translate into a sexually violent act or something similarly unflattering.
I wonder if Mr. Wilkins is more annoyed over the fact that he doesn’t understand the tag or the fact that he chose the name of a “dirty foreigner”
Personally I hope it’s the latter: one of the things that always bugs me in these “Fantastic Racism” stories is how once the discriminated species shows up any and all racism and xenophobia within humanity suddenly vanishes in favor of hating on the “aliens” or “monsters” (as Terry Pratchett famously called it “Black and White gang up on Green”) Hate is not a finite resource guys (unfortunately)
Ok, good counter, and why do I think when translated it will probably read: “Krel Irontail”?
Sometimes the only way to win is to go by the letter of the law and violate the spirit of the law. Nice job, Krel.
Yeah, why is it that the aliens/Romans/reptoids always naturally speak *English*?

Now I’m picturing Wilkins looking it up on Google Translator and saying “This blasted thing is on the fritz again!”
I hadn’t looked at it that way, heh.
You go, Krel! Fight the power! The racist, racist power.

I wish it was–the world could use a little scarcity on hate.
Of course, there’s always the backwater option… *gets the skiff and shotgun*
